Set within 350 acres of historic parkland, and voted one of the top ten Spas in Britain by Tatler, SPA SPC at Stoke Park Club is the ideal retreat.
SPA SPC is situated in the Pavilion building, which houses 28 luxury bedrooms, indoor heated swimming pool, marble steam rooms, relaxation room, hair salon, nail bar, state of the art gym and 13 multi surface tennis courts.
During my stay I experienced the SPC Aromaheat massage, which uses Hawaiian, Balinese and Thai massage techniques to relax and restore tense muscles. The treatment involves rolling a heated poultice, full of active herbal ingredients along the body to create full relaxation. This is then followed by a pampering hands on massage with warm essential oils to promote extended results. My therapist was friendly, utterly professional and I was left feeling relaxed with soothed muscles.
After such a lavish massage, I was treated to a staggeringly luxurious evening meal in The Dining Room. Executive Head Chef Chris Wheeler joined Stoke Park in 2003 following his role of Group Head Chef at Jean-Christophe Novelli’s empire of Michelin starred London restaurants. I enjoyed Dorset crab, followed by pan fried fillet of sea bass and chocolate supp to finish – needless to say, I will be returning!
